Mccloys-jewellery.com does not represent that any product referred to in the materials on this website is appropriate for use, or available, in other locations. Those who choose to access this site from other locations are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

Any contract between us, whether for use of the site or in relation to the purchase of products or services through the site will be governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and all parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Northern Irish Courts.

Any contract will be communicated in English.

Mccloys-jewellery.com reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions from time to time by posting new terms and conditions on this website.

Price information

Mccloys-jewellery.com has taken great care to ensure prices are accurate. Prices may change over time, so if you use your previous orders within ‘Orders’ as a way of re-ordering items, prices on your previous order may no longer be valid. However, the correct prices will be applied when the products are added to your current basket. All prices include VAT where appropriate.

Promotions and prices you see in McCloys’ brick & mortar store do not always apply to mccloys-jewellery.com, and vice versa.

McCloys Chemist premises are registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland. It is the online store for McCloys Chemists, which has been serving the community of Kilrea since 1947.  McCloys Chemist is licensed at the above address. Mccloys-jewelllery.com adheres to the ‘Home Shopping: Distance Selling Regulations’. By purchasing anything from our website you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Please read each section. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Credit card payments

You may pay by credit card or debit card (UK only). We use the Stripe secure payment system. 

Your order will be processed if your credit/debit card billing address and security code can be verified by our credit card payment partner. Delivery to different addresses is at the discretion of Mccloys-jewellery.com. This is to protect our customers from fraud. Mccloys-jewellery.com reserve the right to refuse an order without explanation.

You are also now able to pay via Paypal or Klarna. 

In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options, we will pass to Klarna certain aspects of your personal information, such as contact and order details, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you.

Shipping & Delivery

All of our items are delivered using Royal Mail services

We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order that we deem to be undeliverable due to size, weight or delivery address. In such circumstance the customer will be contacted in advance.

We are not liable to refund customers who have provided us with the wrong Shipping Address. It is up to the customer to provide the correct Shipping Address at time of Purchase.

If you are outside the UK and are interested in an item available on our website, please send us an email or give us a call on 028 295 40247 and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Please note that if we do post a parcel to you outside of the UK, mccloys-jewellery.com will not accept responsibility for paying any additional tax or customs fees, this is up to the customer.

Late Deliveries

Mccloys-jewellery.com will make every effort to deliver within the time stated on our website but will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. If the goods are not delivered within the delivery time which we quote for that item, please contact us by telephone or email.

Missing & Lost Parcels

We can only declare a parcel as officially lost 14 days after the latest estimated delivery date. Whilst it is highly unlikely deliveries will take this long, we can only send you a replacement once the specified period has passed. If your delivery is still within the periods stated above please check with your local post office who may be holding it for collection.

Please note: any undelivered parcel must be reported within 30 days to be eligible for an exchange or refund. Anything after this date will NOT be considered for a refund OR an exchange. To report a missing delivery, please email us and state clearly your order number, name, address, and contact telephone number, as well as the delivery method chosen. We will respond to you within 24 hours (1 working day) and endeavour to resolve with our delivery partners as quickly as possible.

We are not liable to accept a chargeback from your card issuer for any items that you may not have received. As a means of preventing Fraudulent Transactions and subsequent chargebacks, Mccloys-jewellery.com have incorporated the use of 3D Secure Authentication through our checkout. 3D Secure is the only fraud prevention scheme available that offers companies liability cover for transactions that are verified by the checks. Any resulting chargeback will be decided on the discretion of the merchant bank.

Exceptions:

If an incorrect delivery address was stated with your order and your parcel is now lost we are unable to process a refund. If you have provided an incorrect shipping address, contact us immediately and we will endeavour to place a stop and retrieval on your order. If your parcel is returned to us due to an undeliverable address, we will be able to resend this, however a delivery charge may apply.

Substitute Goods

If the product you have purchased is out of stock, you may be contacted and offered a substitute product of similar value. We will not send a substitute product without obtaining permission from the customer first. Mccloys-jewellery.com reserve the right to change postal methods if circumstances require it.

General Terms

Mccloys-jewellery.com may change or withdraw any part of our website or may refuse you access to the website at any time if we consider it necessary, without notification. While we try to ensure that product descriptions are 100% accurate, occasionally they may contain errors if the manufacturers change the item or if there are typing mistakes.

Pricing and Availability

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

All prices are inclusive of VAT. If you place an order and an item has become unavailable, we will notify you of this either by phone or email and then process your refund.

Colour reproduction

Mccloys-jewellery.com has made every effort to reproduce colours on the site as accurately as possible. However, different computers and mobile devices reproduce colours in slightly different ways and so exact colour matches are not yet possible over the internet. Additionally, many of our jewellery items contain unique precious stones, which can vary in colour and shape.

This means that when you order products from the shop, colours may differ from what you see on the screen.

If you are not satisfied with the colour of the item you have ordered, we operate a returns policy.

All products offered for sale on this site are 100% genuine. At Mccloys-jewellery.com we source products only through reputable and robust supply channels. We have long standing relationships with our suppliers spanning over a decade.

When selecting the gift wrap option for your item with the check box you must let us know what type of gift it is in the box below, eg. Woman’s birthday, and if you have selected numerous items to be wrapped, please specify if they need wrapped separately or if you would like them wrapped together. Please also inform us of any other details (eg. If one of your items does not need wrapped).
